Ruby red in colour, Peppoli is characterized by notes of cherries and raspberries, and the aromatic profile is completed by nuances of violets and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is tasty and balanced with lively acidity, a characteristic of Sangiovese-based wines. The fruity notes, spices of the oak and soft tannins dominate the long finish with a lingering aftertaste.
Food Pairings: Pair with homemade pizza, pasta with Bolognese sauce, tomato-based dishes, spicy meats, cured meats and anything off the barbecue.
